House Sitting Fees - sleepover only

 

SLEEPOVER Service Fees

 

R150 per night

 

Please Note:

 

Christmas Eve - additional R100

New Year's Eve - additional R100

Easter Weekend - additional R100 per day

 

Fees include terms as per the services list and/or as agreed upon between parties.

 

NOTE - Tasks over and above the standard tasks will be charged at R75 per hour.

 

Securing our services -  Deposit

 

We work on a first come first serve basis. In order to secure our services, a 50% deposit is payable in advance.  Payment of the deposit secures the service on date deposit is received.

 

The rest of the outstanding amount is payable upon the handing back of your home keys.

 

Any additional fees - the services which will be determined and agreed upon beforehand - will be added to this second payment. Upon your return, we will walk through the property with you to ensure that all is in order, after which the final account will be delivered for payment.

 

NB - please note that the keys will only be handed back upon receipt of this final payment!

 

Cancellation of services - retainer:

 

Cancellation 90 days in advance:

 

Full return of deposit

 

Cancellation 60 days in advance:

 

70% return of deposit - 30% retainer

 

Cancellation 30 days in advance:

 

50% return of deposit - 50% retainer

 

Cancellation 15 days in advance and less:

 

25% return of deposit - 75% retainer

 

 

Terms and Conditions

 

Whilst we shall strive to at all times adhere to your agreed upon security measures, we shall under NO circumstances be liable for damage to the property due to crime, fire, flood or any Godly act. A house sitter is NOT a security guard.

 

In a case of utilizing our sleepover services, the house sitter shall live in your home for the duration of the contract period, as agreed between parties. The house sitter shall be allowed to utilize standard household appliances such as fridges, television, cd player, dvd player, radio, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, clothes iron, ironing board, dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer etc.

 

The housesitter shall at all times use these and all other appliances & property of the house owner as if it were his own - to be treated with utmost care and respect.

 

All due care shall be taken not to damage anything. However, the house sitter shall not be held liable if any of these user items fail or break during normal use for the duration of the live-in period.

 

NB - The owner shall ensure that the house sitter is fully briefed on all matters concerning the home, including a set of written instructions if so warranted.
