Daytime Services
If you prefer NOT to have somebody living in your house (sleeping over), and would rather just want a reliable person to visit your house daily to feed pets, water plants, maintain the swimming pool etc, you can choose this option.
The house sitter then visits your property once per day as per your requirements - no set times unless you prefer and stipulate it that way - but does not sleep over. You are notified via sms every time the property is visited.
More than one visit per day can be arranged - R100 per visit
Daytime Services include:
- Feeding animals - (this applies to HOUSE PETS only)
- Watering plants - this EXCLUDES watering your garden
- Standard swimming pool maintenance - adding of chlorine etc
- A walk around the house to ensure all is in order
- A walkthrough the inside of the house to ensure all is in order - power not tripped, geyser burst, break in etc. (NOTE - you can decide if you want the house sitter to enter the house. If no pets inside and food etc an be accessed from an outbuilding, the house sitter need only have access to your premises and the area he has to enter)
- Switching on of sprinkler systems and pond filters and outdoor lights for security purposes
- Put out rubbish on collection days - you need to inform the house sitter as to removal times & dates
- Remove the mail and keep it for you - in the house or an outbuilding
