Who am I really?
I am just a pretty average 42 year old guy with a steady job who
is forever looking at ways to add to the income stream.

interview today.

My name is Riaan Coetzee and I am involved on a daily basis in a web design business where I am the Marketing Manager. See our website for more info on our services and approach to websites - www.o5webdesign.com.
Being a good little Pisces I turned 42 years young on 6 March 2008. This photo of me was taken in my office. Yip, it was just before I went home, hence the big smile!
More about me
I spent 13 years in the Air Force and left the service in 1997 to find a job where I was allowed to grow some facial hair. Since then I have been involved in Sectional Title Management where I held the esteemed title of Director: Sectional Title for 5 years. After that I was an estate agent, rental agent, and finally ended up doing web sites with my brother, Deon. I have been involved in marketing in varying degrees for the past 10 years and have developed a tremendous passion for it.
I got divorced in 2003, no kids although I would now love to have a little "pink foot" of my own. No steady girlfriend as yet thank you very much, and just generally enjoying my life in ways I never had the time for 10 years ago!
More important for your purposes - I have no criminal record. Unless of course, being a Blue Bulls fan counts! I need to make a confession at this time - I have a canary! Yip. Called Ringo, because he has got a "mop" on his head and looks pretty much like the Beatles...Oh my, since writing this poor Ringo has left the building, so to speak, and is now singing ballads with his namesake in the Big Birdcage Up In The Sky!
My interests
- Formula 1 - Totally and Utterly Passionate! Always been a McLaren fan, but because I support Kimi Raikkonen, 2007 will be my first official year as a Ferrari supporter.
- Motor Racing in general - if it has wheels and goes fast, watch me lick my lips in anticipation.
- Reading - mostly fiction the likes of Sidney Sheldon etc, but do I appreciate a good facts book from time to time.
- The Bush - I am addicted to the bush. The sounds, the smells, a beautiful sunset. Nothing makes me happier than spending hours just walking and taking it all in, trying to identify various spoor and animal noises, or simply sitting around a campfire and listening to a nightjar or hyena or best of all - a lion!
- Gym - I am by no means a Greek God, but have recently started again to get the flab back in place! Love it though.
- Also started jogging recently. Somebody told me it's good for the flab. Hmmm. Well, out of respect for all real runners out there, let's rather call it "a shuffle that incorporates a forward motion!"
- A good movie.
- Good company and stimulating conversation.
